Vandalism near Atlas and Newbrook north of Coeur d'Alene prompted the Landings Homeowners Association manager, Sherry Lenarz, to first report it to Coeur d'Alene Police Department, on Wednesday, August 3rd. The Department forwarded her to Crime Stooppers due the magnitude of the damages to the property. The Homeowners Association then teamed up with Crime Stoppers to offer a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of suspect(s) responsible for the vandalism and other recent graffiti. The Homeowners Association is actively involved in trying to solve this crime with the assistance of Crime Stoppers and area citizens. This is the first time Kootenai County's Crime Stoppers has partnered with a homeowners association to offer a reward. The cash reward is being provided by the association, and will be distributed to tipsters by Crime Stoppers. If anyone has any information on the identity of the suspects responsible for the damages they are asked to call Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest at (208) 667-2111, toll free at 800-222-TIPS. Callers are asked to use a code name or number and do not have to use their own name to be eligible for the reward.
