They say they can solve the world’s problems by meeting up every Friday. The group behind Bump n’ Munch says their website references an awkward smartphone app called "Bump" that allows you to “bump” your friends and magical share contact information through the invisible interwebs.
It’s unknown if the group is actually saving the world, but their parody website sure does make their morning coffee gatherings look productive.
Inland Northwest Tweetups hosts the Friday meetup at Calypsos Coffee weekly at 8 a.m. From current events to marketing and beer, they discuss just about everything in order to network and get to know each other. They also call themselves a “brain trust” to provide solutions to problems and “beyond”.
Even though the website is a parody representation of the actual group, organizer, Lance Kissler, says they’re open to giving opinions and thoughts to people if did approach them with problems.
The website was inspired by inside jokes at the meeting so you had to be there, but it doesn’t mean you can’t be there in the future. Maybe you’ll find the people you never expected to meet at the weekly social.
The group meets every Friday at 8 a.m. Calypsos Coffee is located at 116 East Lakeside Avenue in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
