Bike to Work | Environment

May is bike to work month and three Coeur d'Alene bike shops are working to get more commuters to pedal to work.  Vertal Earth, Terra Sports and Bicycle Sales and Service are sponsoring the Coeur d'Alene Commuter Challenge.   The Challege's punch card says riders stop in to any of the three shops and earn commuting stamps for riding their bicycle to work or to any daily activity.   Collect enough stamps and redeem them for free gear or service.   Vertical Earth owner Mike Gaertner says the challenge is a way to get people to try bicycle commuting, safe gas and get in shape.  The Challenge lasts through summer.
