Police search for suspected car prowler | Crime

Coeur D'Alene police are offering a cash reward to help catch a suspected car prowler that tried breaking into several cars at a repair shop July 14.

Police said the person pictured in the surveillance video above tried to open the doors of cars parked in the Midtown Motorworks parking lot on 4th Street at 4:50 a.m.

The prowler was not successful in getting into the vehicles but did open an unlocked rear door of the business. However, a security alarm was triggered when he opened the door and prowler ran away.
