Police: Suspect slashes vehicle tires at 3rd & Front | Crime
A parking lot in Coeur d'Alene experienced a tire slashing spree over the weekend. Police say seven vehicles were targeted in front of Tubbs Hill at 3rd and Front yesterday morning around 5:30-6 a.m.
The responding officer had no leads on who had committed the crimes until a witness contacted him stating that he saw a man acting oddly in the parking lot. The witness said that the man was yelling at and talking to himself, and then began to yell at him. The man was last seen walking toward the entrance to Tubbs Hill.
The seven vehicle owners are pursuing charges against the tire slasher who has yet to be found or identified.
The police report described the possible suspect as a white male approximately 5'9", weighing 160 pounds, with short sandy brown/blonde hair. The male was last seen wearing black jeans and a black t-shirt. The male is described to be in his twenties.
