Press Release - The 11th Annual Ride for Life motorcycle rally benefiting Cancer Patient Care will take place on July 16, 2011. Bikers will gather at each of thirteen different Ride Hosts, including many area motorcycle shops, to embark upon multiple scenic group rides. Part-way through their ride, many of the groups will gather in Spirit Lake, Idaho, to complete the ride in to Curley's Hauser Junction all together. Once they arrive, they will be treated to a barbecue, music, silent and live auctions, drawings, and prizes. Last year there were over 600 participants, who raised nearly $14,000 to help Cancer Patient Care give cancer patients in North Idaho and Eastern Washington a fighting chance. The Ride for Life was started by Dan Ertz 11 years ago to help make a real difference in the fight against cancer locally. This year long-time supporters Scott and Jinny Lyon and Lucky and Trish Lawrence have taken over to continue the legacy that Dan started.

Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho Bikers have been enjoying this ride every July, many set aside this time in their calendars because this is their favorite ride. Come join us this year and see why it's so popular! Registration is $25 and includes the ride, lunch, t-shirt, and ride pin. Registration is available up until the morning of the ride at all of the following Ride Host locations: Coeur d’Alene Honda, Cruisers, Curley’s Houser Junction, Hell Yeah Cycles, Helmet Outlet, Lawrence’s Motorcycles, Legion Riders, Lone Wolf Harley Davidson, May’s Honda, Mike’s Power Sport Supply, One Eye’s, Spokane Power Sports, Vintage V-Twin, Westside Power Sports.
