Question: Does Eastern Washington and North Idaho have too many farmers markets?

Response from Guest: "Until there are more farmer's markets than chain supermarkets, there won't be too many of them. The goods tend to be substantially healthier, more economical and more environmentally friendly. Also, the funds stay in the local economy, which in turn stimulates growth here which we can all benefit from.

Because of all it's accolades, the Grammy, the Tonys, I shouldn't have been surprised when the house was packed this afternoon, nearly 2,700 seats filled at the INB Performing Arts Center on a Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Old Takara Restaurant Building Is Getting A New Tenant And A Face Lift

Old Takara Restaurant Building Is Getting A New Tenant And A Face Lift

Takara in Coeur d'Alene Idaho has been closed for awhile, but new life is springing up in its place.

The smell of fresh cut lumber greets you at the street and a new tempory sign is up. It appears that the new restaurant will be called Lemon Grass and will feature Vietnamese Cuisine. Will be nice to have another restaurant choice downtown.

I noticed the sign and the construction as I passed by on my way to the Downtown Farmers Market that happens every Wednesday from 4-7pm on 5th Street.
