Honeysuckle Beach Opens Late

Eventhough we're all itching to get into our swimsuits and hit the beach, you're going to have to wait a little longer on Hayden Lake. Starting June 18th, lifeguards will staff the beach from 11 in the morning to 6 at night.

If you're a boater, you can expect to pay a fee to launch at Honeysuckle.

The Great Glom: Spokane-Coeur d'Alene To Become One Metropolitan Area

Anyone who lives here has a habit of calling it the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene area, but now the Census Bureau wants to make it official.
