The future of the Education Corridor in Coeur d'Alene is in the hands of MDM Construction. The Lake City Development Corporation Board of Directors awarded the winning big to MDM Construction today.

The company is based in Hayden and will complete the Phase 1-A portion of the project for $3,690,050.

Advanced Dermatology is holding a Golf Tournament June 17th at the Coeur d'Alene Resort at 2pm to raise money for Stop The Burn Campaign.  It gets kids hats because schools can't give out sunblock because it's considered a medicine.  The Center of Disease Control ranks Washington and Idaho among the highest skin cancer rates in the United States.  For each golfer the Resort gives back $25 toward the Stop The Burn Campaign plus all sponsorships and raffle money.&nbs

Help Available For Idaho Homeowners Facing Foreclosure

The Idaho Housing and Finance Association is offering emergency loans to help people keep their homes and get back on their feet.

$13 million in federal money has been made available to the program. There are stipulations for loan applicants: Obviously, you have to be facing foreclosure, but you also have to be unemployed or have a medical condition that has resulted in the loss of at least 15 percent of your income.

The program helps homeowners make mortgage payments for up to 24 months with up to $50,000 in zero interest, forgivable loans.
