Lightning Strike Along East Hayden Lake Road

Lightning Strike Along East Hayden Lake Road

As KXLY viewer, Jennifer Ross, was driving along East Hayden Lake Road last week, moments earlier, lightning had struck a tree alongside the road. Her daughter, who was driving behind her, pulled over with a friend to take the above photos. Ross said that happened toward the end of the storm that brought with it thunder lightning and rain. They found wood debris scattered on the road.

"We saw it and thought it could have been bad and started a fire," Ross said.

If you ever take photos of moments like this and more, send them to news4@kxly.com.
